Hopin Technical Specs and Requirements

hopin

Service Management Days is a 100% virtual event.

Before attending Service Management Days, we recommend you  review the platform’s technical requirements and recommendations to have the best experience.

Check Your Browser

  • Currently, Hopin, our conference platform, recommends the latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for laptop and desktops for the best viewing experience.
  • Sometimes, third-party extensions can affect the experience by blocking some of the Hopin interface elements. That’s why we also recommend opening the event in Incognito mode (command+Shift+N on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+N on Windows) on Chrome or Private tab (command+Shift+P for macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P for Windows) on Firefox.
  • On mobile devices the user experience can be limited. If you use a mobile device, please we recommend you use Safari on iOS and Google Chrome on Android

Check the Internet speed

  • Video and audio streaming is heavy on the internet that’s why we recommend running a speed test and make sure you have 30Mbps+ on both Download and Upload speed for the best experience and highest resolutions across the event.
  • The lowest bandwidth supported is 5Mbps. Mozilla Firefox works best for low-bandwidth internet connection for laptops or computers.

Check any settings on top of your Internet

  • Some over-the-internet settings affect the experience and can prevent you from getting the best experience. Please make sure to turn off VPN, proxy or Firewall while organizing, attending or speaking at the event on Hopin.
